Brine House sits half a level down from the lobby — stone corridors, cedar panels, and air that tastes of salt even when the windows are shut. We borrowed the name from the old packing sheds where fish were salted before rail export.

Cold basin lined with cedar staves — ten steps down, twelve seconds recommended immersion. Towels warmed on a brass rack. Not suitable during pregnancy; ask at desk for alternatives.
Dry heat at 78°C; bucket and ladle ritual at 15-minute marks. Harbour view through a frosted slit window. Quiet conversation only.
Single tub rooms with sea-salt soak at 38°C. Book in 45-minute blocks. Includes chilled cucumber water and one robe change.
All body work happens in rooms numbered for buoy markers — BM-1 through BM-6.

Therapists train in Swedish and myofascial techniques; oils are unscented unless you request bergamot.
Robes and sandals are provided — herringbone cotton, replaced each visit. Lockers use brass keys checked at the Brine House desk. Children under sixteen are welcome for mineral soaks before 14:00 when accompanied; steam and plunge are eighteen plus.
