Rooms

Named for harbour features, built for long sleep.

Each room faces the basin or the rope walk. Walls are lime-washed ash; floors are reclaimed pier timber. You will find a tide chart, a brass reading lamp, and silence thick enough to hear the halyards tap against masts two streets over.

Four chambers

28 m² · basin view

Fog Signal Suite

Corner suite with double-height windows toward the fog horn tower. King bed with sailcloth headboard, writing desk of teak salvaged from a pilot cutter, and a shower tiled in slate from the old quay. Ideal for stays of three nights or more. From $218 per night.

22 m² · rope walk

Rope Walk Chamber

Narrow and deep, like the alley it overlooks. Queen bed, rope-coiled bedside tables, and blackout shutters that still let a thread of harbour light through at dawn. Single occupancy or couples. From $164 per night.

19 m² · loft height

Chandlery Loft

Up a half-flight of stairs — low beams, skylight over the berth. Smells faintly of linseed oil and canvas. Compact desk, peg rail for coats, shared-wall quiet policy after 22:30. From $142 per night.

24 m² · tide chart wall

Tide Chart Room

Full wall of laminated tide tables updated weekly by our night porter. Two twin beds or one pushed together. Popular with guests who plan evenings near casino lights along the far promenade but want rope-and-timber sleep and a 06:00 kettle. From $156 per night.
